Brass Teapot

Challenge #4 from Daily Paintworks Challenge, and this one was hard and really took a lot of concentration, in that we were to mix new colors for each brush stroke. I cheated a bit, but I pretty much followed it, and used larger brushes, and I feel like I really accomplished something - to be quite a lot less fussy. It is so easy to over paint, and not know when to stop.
Also, I haven't done very many still lifes, and I have been meaning to paint this teapot for a long time!
I like this. I think it has vitality.  This is such a valuable lesson, and it will become part of the way I paint. Thank you Carol Marine!

    Catherine you did a great job with this challenge. I would never have guess it was a the One Stoke Challenge. You also chose a not so easy subject!

    Painting brass is a challenge all by itself, and then add the One Stroke Challenge. You did a fantastic job, Catherine! This is really nice.
